Is Deactivation/Reactivation process and License Transfer process same?

You use license transfer process for transferring license from one computer to another computer. The basic steps involved are
1. Deactivation of license on current computer
2. Reactivation of license on new computer.
If your hard disk is same, but your have new CPU or motherboard, then you also need to follow the same steps. Before changing CPU or motherboard, first deactivate the software. After changing the hardware, use the software reactivation feature.
